Evently is an online platform, set to change the MICE industry as we know it. It’s B2B-focused, serving as a matchmaker between companies and event suppliers. Its aim is to help businesses plan their event in a hassle-free manner. Additionally, it assists event suppliers to generate more business and to access a pool of high-quality B2B leads.
Every company has a unique beginning. Evently started out as an online ticketing platform in Malta that facilitated the process of selling and purchasing event tickets and promoting events. Jonathan and Ben, the dynamic duo behind this platform, were, in the meantime, working on launching Get Hitched.
Get Hitched is now considered as a household name in Malta since it completely revolutionised the Maltese wedding industry. After chasing a tonne of suppliers for his own wedding, CEO Jonathan came up with the idea of providing a platform that connects wedding suppliers with couples who are interested in using their services. After hashing out the idea with Ben (and having countless sleepless nights), Get Hitched was launched in 2017 to astounding success. Over 2000 couples have used the platform and over 250 suppliers have benefitted from it.
After the success of Get Hitched in Malta, Jonathan and Ben decided to expand the concept further. Their aim: helping couples across the globe to plan their wedding in a hassle-free manner. That is why they decided to launch an elevated version of Get Hitched in the UK, under the brand name Wedango. Wedango launched in April 2019 in Manchester and in just a couple of weeks, it has already garnered a lot of attention.
With the increasing interest in Malta as a MICE industry hotspot, Jonathan and Ben, together with their team, are using their expertise to offer a similar platform for the MICE industry. Evently has been revamped into a more powerful tool that should be a mainstay in every company’s arsenal.
